In the current study, the researcher interviewed sixteen primary school teachers. It found that Myanmar primary school teachers are satisfied with their jobs when they achieve outstanding teachers’ rewards in their career, which is a solid intrinsic motivator and psychological incentive for them to work harder. It gave them a feeling of self-worth and confidence to continue the teaching profession. This result concurs with a finding from (Jehanzeb et al ., 2010) found that psychological incentive such as reward has positive significance on motivation that is positively related to job satisfaction and positive effect on job satisfaction.
