Internet blockade limits the development of cyber democracy, restricting the communication between Chinese and foreign Internet users through online social media, as well as setting up obstacles for the development of Chinese e-commerce. Internet blockade will not only bring risks for China's future economic development, but also harm China’s establishment of a good image in the world.
