The report aims to analyze the financial, social and environmental performance of the Adidas. The first part introduces the developing situation of Adidas; and the second part analyzes the financial statement of Adidas in 2014 according to the annual report; then the third part explores the social performance of Adidas, including its performance in employee health,contributions to the community, human rights protection, product responsibility and customer involvement; and the fourth part illustrates the environmental performance, including environmental protection and waste production concerns and energy and carbon emission concerns. The last part makes a final conclusion about the overall situation of Adidas.

The operation scopes of Adidas are various. In addition to football, Adidas also operates the business in basketball, baseball, swimming, track and field, tennis, boxing, and the extreme sports. Providing the best shoes for every athlete is the concept of Adidas, so the company try to introduce innovative technology and break through the traditional design and function by  repeated having communication with the consumers. And now, Adidas adhere to the concept of perfect shoe with high quality constantly, which can satisfy the general demand of consumer of high quality sporting goods. In order to improve the quality of life of consumers and lead the global sporting goods towards a more diversified vision. Adidas set ways to realize enterprise direction: Adidas would exchange of experience constantly with the world top athlete and coach, and make continuous research and development testing. The core values of Adidas are: performance/passion/integrity/diversity, which make the enterprise could be sustainability, at the same time, Adidas set the standard in terms of social and environmental protection (Adidas, 2016).

Adidas is a sports manufacture in German and have various operation ranges in regard to sports. Adidas has long history of operation and also experienced the decline during these years, which means that the sustainability is really important for Adidas. For the financial statement, Adidas performs not so good in the profitability and liquidity. Profitability indicators including return on sales, return on assets and return on equity are used to illustrate the ability of earning profits of Adidas. Although the DPS has increased a little bit, the other indicators such as EPS, return on sales, return on assets and return on equity are all declined. And compared with Nike, which is one of the main competitor of Adidas, have higher level. And the liquidity is also the same, no matter the level of equity ratio or the level of current ratio Nike performs better than Adidas.
