Children and their families will be responsible for design of the floats and performance in this parade. This project on the one hand provides the children an opportunity to contact with and understand tradition of their own culture, on the other hand, it allows them to learn how to respect other cultures and appreciate other cultures, which will not only be beneficial for making use of the strengths of their own cultural heritage and other cultural heritage in their future study and lives, but also help them with integration into the diversity society in U.S. successfully.
