2.2.1 Domestic Terminology Studies in International Relations
Tian Hailong[7] made a preliminary review of western researches concerning language and political studies and proposed the establishment of the discipline of political linguistics. Ailing[8] first put language and IR together. He studies the relationship between language and international issues from the technical and cultural or psychological levels. This was a very rare research area at the time. Liu Yongtao[9] argued that the introduction of linguistic perspectives is necessary for IR studies. He combines language and IR together in order to construct a new analytical framework for discourse of IR. Sun Jisheng[10] highlighted the great significance of linguistics perspectives to the study of IR. He constructed the disciplinary framework of international political linguistics and perfected the research agenda of it[11, 12].

5.1 Results
Figure 5.1&5.2 below show the frequency development of the terms bargaining and negotiation as well as the number of articles in which they are used in IO in the years 1974 through 2000. In order to trace conceptual developments and language patterns of bargaining and negotiation more specifically, the corpus linguistic methods of concordancing and collocational analysis are applied. Then articles with the highest hits of bargaining and negotiation are shown in Table 5.1 (see Appendix A). Information regarding significant expressions of these two terms are captured more easily by calculating the high frequency of bargaining and negotiation in each year. Having received all useful information, this study goes deeper into the context and traces the syntactic and textual practices around bargaining and negotiation based on the Onion Skin Model of contextualization. The contextualization of bargaining and negotiation from 1974 to 2000 is shown in Table 5.3 and 5.4 (see Appendix A).
6 Conclusion
6.1 Major Findings
Major findings of present study are discussed from three aspects in order to answering the three research questions. First, the conceptual development of bargaining and negotiation. By investigating the usage and use of the relevant expression bargaining and negotiation in IO from 1974 to 2000, the notions of them are studied based on the inner layer and outer layer i
