inevitably makes us take an active interest in the problem of how these companies operate in a relatively uniform social and economic system under different management cultures. Corporate culture presents in the most core values of a company, no matter how different the economic environments, the sizes of the operation, their industries, the stages of development, and the management methods are. Different corporate cultures will provide positive thrust and negative resistance of different intensities for the development of enterprises. However, the contents of corporate culture are not immutable. With the advent of the globalization and knowledge-based economy, both the internal and external operation environments of enterprises are changing. No enterprise can survive unless it can go with the stream of such changes. However, almost 80% of the flow rebuilding, upgrade of quality management system, strategic planning and other technical means bring about serious problems, even lead to a complete failure. Many studies have shown that the ignorance of the corporate culture is the most common cause for this situation. In other words, we should look carefully at the situation of the corporate culture before the transformation of corporate system and operational mode. Attaching importance to the corporate culture reshaping is a proactive approach to enhance the versatility and a positive attempt to respond to the increasing uncertainty of the internal and external business environment. The premise of the corporate culture reshaping is the diagnosis of the status quo of the culture. The ideal result is that the expected cultural status is in accordance with the ideal state, forming a positive driving force for the development of enterprises.
The actual significance of this dissertation is when the company pay most attention on the growth of business performance, scale and capital, there is only few people have found that the growth in the field of corporate culture building and development is negative while pursuing the short-term benefits. Only by combing the western advanced enterprise management theory and experience with the construction practices of Chinese enterprise and attaching great importance to the impact of the corporate culture on enterprise management mode and constantly carrying out corporate culture building and enriching practical means can we adapt to the transformation period of the economic development.
The aim of this dissertation is to research the characteristics of two countries’ culture, and how it has influence on organizational culture. Then further research aims at how organizational culture impacts on the enterprise management. Nowadays, with the economy is gradually getting globalization, the enterprises is developing towards multicultural. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the relationship between culture and management.
