背景
景区名称是游客参观的第一印象,能激发游客的想象力,激发游客的参观欲望。景区翻译是旅游翻译的难点,而涉及文化内涵的景区翻译则是旅游翻译的难点。译者必须重视文化因素在景区翻译过程中的地位和作用。有好名声就像打好广告一样,对促进旅游业的普及起着重要作用。然而,景区名称的翻译存在着诸多问题,严重损害了景区形象。这不利于旅游业的发展,其翻译地位有待提高。
The name of the scenic spots is the first impression visited by tourists, and it can arouse tourists' imagination and inspire their desire to visit. The translation of scenic spots is a difficult point in tourism translation, while the translation of scenic spots involving cultural implication is the most difficult point. Translators must attach importance to the status and role of cultural factors in the translating process of scenic spots. Having a good name is like hitting a good advertisement, which plays an important role in promoting the popularity of tourism. However, the translation of the name of the scenic spot has various problems, which seriously damage the image of tourist attractions. It is not conducive to the development of tourism, and its translation status needs to be improved.
Theoretical and practical significance理论和现实意义
翻译是一种有目的的跨文化交际活动,汉斯•J•维米尔创立的功能主义目的论提出了翻译的三条原则:目的原则、连贯原则和忠诚原则。中国风景名胜区介绍了具体的文字特点、书写方式和历史文化,使这些风景名胜区的英文翻译不尽如人意。有些网站甚至使用一些翻译软件将中国景点翻译成汉字,甚至连最基本的语法结构都没有考虑在内,因此在交易过程中也充满了错误。本文以翻译理论为指导,以目的论三大翻译规则为标准,对黄果树瀑布景区网络英语翻译进行了介绍、分析和改进。 Translation is a purposeful intercultural communication activity, and the Skopos Theory of functionalism founded by Hans J Vermeer mentioned three rules of translation: Principle of purpose, coherence and loyalty. The Chinese scenic spot introduces specific text features, the way of writing, and the historical culture which result in not being satisfactory the English translation of these scenic spots. Some websites even use some translation software to translate Chinese scenic spots into Chinese characters, even the most basic grammatical structure is not considered, so it is full of mistakes in transaction process. This paper will take translating theory as the guide, based on Skopos theory three rules of translation as the standard to measure the network English translation of the huangguoshu waterfall scenic spot introduction, analysis and improve the translation problems. 
B. Current research on the subject (including home and abroad research and problems to solve) Translation theory holds that translation is a purposeful intercultural communication activity. Hans J Vermeer mentioned according to the client's request, combining the purpose of translation and the special situation of the readers, and then chooses translation from the information provided in the original text. Up to now, some researchers have carried out their research about the English translation of Huangguoshu waterfall. Yan Yang (1992) points out Scenic area should intensify efforts to promote translation of scenic spots and the translators should also be guided by the functional translation theory (A Brief History of Chinese Translation Theory). Susan Bassnett (2002) said the scenic area translation needs information transmission, which is not only faithfully to deal with cultural factors in scenic spots, but pay attention to the information transfer effect (Tranlation Studies 3rd edition). Zhong weihe mentioned that translation is a purposeful intercultural communication activity, which should follow the rules of destination, consistent and faithful. It can make foreign tourists to know more about China, understanding of guizhou huangguoshu (German functional translation theory). Based on their research, the paper tries to mention the English translation of scenic spots is very purposeful, this paper aims is to introduce the information to foreign readers, arouse readers' interest in the natural landscape and human history of scenic spots, and finally attract them to visit the scenic spot.
