我出生在一个商人家庭，我父母都是商人。由于工作繁忙，我从小就被培养起来，管理自己的生活，我认为这是一件幸运的事，因为在这个过程中，我学会了如何成为一个高效而有组织的时间管理者。在过去的几年里，我亲眼目睹了我的父母是多么努力地建立自己的公司，一步一步地把它变成一个良好的运行状况，从而为我提供了优越的生活条件和更好的教育。这种家庭背景对我对商业的兴趣和学习的决心有着深刻的影响。I was born into a merchant family and my parents are both businessmen. Due to their hectic work schedule, I was brought up to order and manage my own life at a tender age, which I think is a fortunate thing because in this process I learned how to become an efficient and organized time manager. In the last couple of years, I have witnessed how hard my parents worked to establish their company, step by step bring it into a good running situation and thus provide me with a superior living condition and better education. This family background has a deep formative effect on my interest in business as well as the determination to learn it. I’m really a lucky dog because my parents totally support me to do what I love and encourage me to stick with it. Therefore I am full of expectation to go to university to study about business and take a major new step forward in my experience.
Besides my home environment, the international and domestic economic situation is also an important reason for my decision to learn about business. Nowadays, the world is moving further toward multi-polarization and economic globalization, for China which brings not only opportunities but also challenges. So correctly managing the development of our economy has become the key to winning the global competition. Under these circumstances, there is a dire need for people with good business acumen. And I think the business management major is a suitable approach to help me acquire this kind of ability. The courses of business management include accounting, management, international trade, business administration and so on. Through learning these lessons I believe I can better prepare myself to join the social practice and provide myself with the chance of a prospective career.
Speaking of my career planning, I hope I can devote myself to the tourism industry in the future. On the one hand, since my parents are engaged in the tourist industry, I can put what I learn into action to support and inherit their work. On the other hand, with the improvement of people’s income and living standard, more and more people choose to travel at home and abroad; China also obtains large sums of foreign exchange from tourism. Therefore the booming tourist trade is undoubtedly a promising business with a huge potential market and I will spare no effort to carve out a career for myself in this sector.
I went abroad to study when I was 15 and was encouraged to be an independent thinker. This experience fosters the ability to analyze and solve problems on my own. I have also developed a good learning habit and acquired some important skills such as coordination and communication. I think managing a business can sometimes be seen as a self managing unit for they all contain the management of time, personal behavior and so on. Only when you can manage yourself well can you manage a business well. And I have been doing well in this respect. So I think I adequately meet the requirements of this major and can complete the projects successfully. Moreover, I used to work as an office assistant in the DPS CONSULTING CO., LTD Company. During that time, I have demonstrated creativity, management skills, language proficiency, and my courage to accept challenges. I also have a basic knowledge of what a company system includes and how a company operates, which helps me better prepared for the lessons of business management theory.
