A long time ago, in the cold September of 1962, there was a Steven’s co-op at this very university. That co-op had a kitchen with a ceiling that had been cleaned by student volunteers probably every decade or so. Picture a college girl named Gloria, climbing up high on a ladder, struggling to clean that filthy ceiling. Standing on the floor, a young boarder named Carl was admiring the view. And that’s how they met. They were my parents.
I had the honor to receive an invitation from 某人, a second-year graduate student at Owen,to participate in 某活动. Ever since, I maintained frequent contacts with 某人 and gained profound insights of high-quality education of Owen MBA program. I am especially interested in the your MBA Leadership Development Program, because,in the long run, I will take over my father’s company, 某公司. I aim at leading the company to 某宏伟目标. I need to expand my international outlook and strengthen my unique leadership to look for the best interests of my family business.
As a matter of fact, I have already involved in managing my father’s company as the Manager of R&D Center. I contributed to building and developing the research team and led the team to directly communicate and cooperate with 某国际企业 to adopt their technology to produce 某产品, which was the first of its kind in China. According to our financial report, this project will probably generate revenue of RMB 数字 by the end of 年份. As 某人 recommends, Owen emphasizes on experiential learning, through which I will not only form a solid theoretical grounding but also engage in a wealth of real-world practices.
Frankly, I used to see fundamental education as an obligation that I have to fulfill to remain in a good standing with my family, yet I had no personal drive and no pleasure in learning just for the sake of it.The failure of the College Entrance Examination subjected me to a big blow, and I started to reflect on my past behaviors and the purpose of study. Sometimes, the absence of something which you have taken for granted or even considered as a burden can suddenly make you see its value and importance. My perspective on education changed dramatically, and I realized how influential and essential it could be for my future career by receiving good education. Know
