商贸信函中常常会出现赘述现象:

3) After delivery of goods, we will send a full set of shipping documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing and Weight List, Bill of Lading , Form A, Insurance Policy to the negotiating bank.[5]
以上两例中都出现了不同程度的冗余,似乎违反了写作原则中的简约准则,例2)中的这些同义结构都是商务英语文体中的惯用语,一般是按照这种成对的形式出现。而例3)中则是写信人用重复的手法对所叙述的内容加以强调,以引起读信人的重视。所以,商务写作中出现一定
