My current major is Chinese Language and Literature, and I will get a Bachelor’s degree from University of Shanghai in July 2009. During my previous study in my major, I have attended in many courses and accumulated relative knowledge to learn communication management. Through participating in lectures, seminar on the communication management on campus, these subjects have provided me with foundation of knowledge and skills in relevance to communication management. Driven by my enthusiasm in communication management, I am also fond of reading extracurricular books in communication management practices with case studies of well-known joint ventures and international businesses operated in China.
In order to develop leadership, interpersonal communication and teamwork skills, I am playing very active roles in many social activities outside class, for example, to hold the campus singer competition successfully, the plan of the competition was drafted carefully on my own. To promote the campus singer competition to attract more people participation, I have made the comprehensive promotion plan independently and at last the campus singer competition was demonstrated into a great success. At the same time, to know the media operation well, I used to the part-time reporter of two newspaper, The New Observation of The Media and Luzhong Morning News. The first paper is school of Journalism newspaper and the latter is city newspaper. Many extraordinary achievements have been made during my part-time reporter. More than 12 articles for the newspaper such as Longshan Culture Site have been written. Several film interviews have been finished successfully. Although I believe that I am capable of finding a job in China with good salary after I graduated from University Of Shanghai, my future career development and chances for promotion would be definitely limited by my current level of education and lacking of experiences gained in communication management.
Therefore, I am longing for pursuing a master degree in communication management, and I am ready to face any challenges posed by my study in the Australia. With the support of the academic foundation built up at my current study, which is in relevance to communication management, and my outgoing personality, I am optimistic that I would adapt to new life in a different culture smoothly. In the meantime, I could successfully complete my postgraduate study in the University of-------------.
