摘要
近几年我国的地方性电视新闻频道在经历过迅速扩张阶段之后，进入一个相对平稳的发展期。同时，伴随着互联网媒体的不断成熟和竞争力的加强，我国的地方性电视新闻频道面临着收视率下降、收视份额收窄的不利处境。但是，作为地方新闻宣传的主要力量，地方性电视新闻频道又肩负着引导地方舆论导向，疏通民众和政府交流渠道的重要任务。可以说，当今我国的地方性电视新闻频道的生存现状是“危”中有“机”，只有认识到自身的优势，补足自己的短板，才能为未来的发展奠定坚实的基础。
自从1980年，CNN作为首家电视新闻频道创立伊始，专业电视新闻频道从美国起步，逐渐拓展到其它国家和地区，并成为电视频道专业化大潮中一个重要的分支。在我国，依靠地方电视媒体平台开办专业新闻频道，最早的是福建电视台于1999年创建的福建电视台新闻频道。以此为开端，我国的一些省市级的电视媒体，在不断摸索中逐步建立起了一套适合中国国情的电视新闻专业频道的发展经验。
地方性电视新闻频道所播出节目影响的区域主要以该频道所辖属区域为主，它具备电视新闻频道的一般特征，但又受到自身制作节目能力的制约，分为“专业新闻频道”和“新闻综合频道”两种形式，所谓“新闻综合频道”是指播出内容以新闻类节目为主，结合播出诸如电视剧等其他类型节目的一种频道组织形式。
近几年我国的地方性电视新闻频道发展迅速，这在世界范围内也是很少见的一种现象。本文通过研究国内不同地区具有代表性的地方性电视新闻频道的发展现状，进而探讨地方性电视新闻频道在媒介融合的时代背景下该如何突破自我，从而在激烈的市场竞争中赢得一席之地。这就要求地方性电视新闻频道在明确自身定位的前提下，对未来的发展应有明确的思路，一方面，在节目制作上要适应多平台，多种形式媒体的播出需求，满足观众不断提升的要求；另一方面，加强不同形式媒体之间的协作，探索一条共同发展的新道路。
此外，结合我国经济社会的发展现状，作为社会主义性质的新闻事业的一部分，我国的地方性电视新闻频道更应该在促进地方社会稳定和经济发展上发挥重要作用。这与身处资本主义社会的电视新闻媒体凡事皆以经济效益作为根本目标，即便是在对社会影响力的追求上，也是出于为了更好的牟利这一原则是决然不同的。
总之，本文力求透过表层现象深掘隐藏在背后的符合规律性和具有研究价值的内容。通过这些研究指导我国的地方性电视新闻频道能够更好地立足现状，找准定位，解决发展中存在的问题。
