Much of the deep culture of a language is instantiated and transmitted through communication. In addition, cultural differences that may cause cultural disturbances exist in intercultural communication. Therefore, culture teaching through communication is feasible in Chinese EFL education. It can help EFL learners raise the cultural awareness and develop the intercultural communicative competence.
