In order to facilitate the protection of the army and maintain a powerful empire, the Romans focused on building good quality roads. The Romans are excellent road Architect, there are some roads are still in using among all the roads they have built, and their styles had been imitated by modern western architect. Also, the Romans are outstanding engineers. They built many bridges, canals and elevated water bridges, which made people to admire deeply on their wisdom, and some of them are still be used now.

Architecture
Roma is a great architect. Ancient Roman architecture had a profound influence on western architecture. Initially, Roman buildings used arch and dome architectural style, their temple buildings used more Corinthian columns, so they left many similar architectural style to us such as triumphal arch, basilica, Trajan big square and Circus Maximus.( Michele Melaragno, 1991) In the past centuries, many cities in the world have been imitating Roman architectural style. Especially during the Renaissance, it set off a huge wave of following the classical period. During that time, it appeared a member of Archaize style architecture, like Mantua SAN Andres church from The Roman triumphal arch, Saint Peter's Basilica Combining dome and pillar style.

Art
