The international trade and business activities are gaining increase significance with the passage of time as the race of globalization is continued with greater zeal (Ctoera & Graham, 2008). Various barriers and obstacles that were previous impeding the movement of goods and services across the borders have now been eradicated due to the WTO agreements and different goods and services could not move almost freely across the borders. The whole world has now collapsed into the global village and multinational and global companies are actively capitalizing this trend. During the recent time not only the intra-industry trade has been increasing but also the inter-industry is also gaining significance (Hussain, 2009). Realizing the significance of the issue, efforts will be made in this paper that how the global company, Proctor & Gamble (P&G hereinafter) could realize growth in the global world. For the sake of discussions three theories of internationalization known as Dunning eclectic paradigm OLI theory, Vernon's international life cycle theory, and Network theory of internationalization will be explored in detail and how such theories could be applied to P&G to explain its internationalization strategy.
