3.3 MAIN FACTOR MIGNT CHANGE THE ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IN THIS COMPANY
Up to now, there were at least 9 headmistresses have been work in this kindergarten, and quitted most because owners considered these headmistresses were not meet their expectation. Because all the owners have no or little experience to manage, they have to hire some professional, experienced headmistress to manage kindergarten. But most headmistresses in this middle city only manage some small, less tuition kindergarten, they experience couldn’t satisfied some rich parents who ask for better caring and good education. And others who have ability to perfectly manage this kindergarten ask for high salaries and other orders that kindergarten owners think it’s unacceptable.
This causes a lot of problems in this kindergarten. When a new headmistress arrives, it takes a long time to herto adopt the new circumstance and different consumers’ requirement. During this time, some teachers would leave their job because they didn’t want to follow the new headmistress orthe new headmistress considered they didn’tdo well. The change of teacher also causes the unsatisfied of consumers, becausetheir kids always change teachers.
Besides, many rule and policies would change when changing headmistress, probably because the new headmistress always do some change to show her ability. Staffs who work in here know each other.They also know some detail of their colleagues’ private life, such as their kids, their marital status, or their hobby. Working in this kindergarten are more like live in a big family.
As a small company, rules are not so rigid in this kindergarten. Sometimes headmistress will make a decision subjectively, and depend on the situation to make different judgments. If someone who arrive late or leave early for some special reason, such as her kid gets ill, generally, she probably not gets punishment.
