• Copies of the five original surveys that were completed by your respondents
• A one page printed copy of the Excel spreadsheet for your five completed  surveys
• A one page printed document (word processed at 12 point Times New Roman font) with the title of the survey and your student number as a header.  The document must include descriptive statistics for the Full Results spreadsheet along with one interesting finding that you have researched from the data with evidence to support it.  This finding must be based on individual research.  The document must also include a short summary of the method of analysis you used to research your interesting finding and describe any weaknesses you think there might be in the data from your experiences of collecting and analysing it.
• A completed AGC form and a signed Ethics form

The report needs to have three sections (listed below with their weighting)

Descriptive Statistics:
Descriptive statistics are a way of summarising data.  They include measures of central tendency such as the mean, median and mode and measures of spread such as standard deviation.  I would recommend summarising suitable descriptive statistics for this data set in a table.  For instance, you could include the mean for the first section like this:

My finding:
You must also offer a finding from the data set.  To do this you need to look for an unexpected feature of the data set that needs some explaining.  You might compare the results of section A with the equivalent question in section B.  If you want pointers on more detailed analysis why not look at the Vitell and Muncy (1992) piece on which the survey is based.  If you do look at this piece you’ll see that they see how the attitudinal statements (Section C) and individual differences (Section D) influence the data.  Either way, your finding should be supported with data.  An example might show that more males think it is okay to download music than females.  You must back this up using appropriate statistical tests such as the Chi-Square test.  These tests are much easier to do on SPSS, which is why I have recommended that you look at this programme.

Reflection on methods:
