es, the present condition of biology teaching in high school and the trend of educational reform and the students' creation quality. The situation and problems existing in foreign
countries and teaching model in China have been further analyzed. It initially probes into the connotation of open-oriented biology teaching model in high school, as well as the teaching method, condition the main content in the open-oriented teaching. On the base of modern cognitive psychology,humanism theory, modern quality-oriented education theory and Bruner's
structuralism discovery theory, two basic models have been probed in the open-oriented biology teaching in high school. The basic model has been evaluated with one's own teaching practice. Many topics deserving further consideration have been propounded.
