从医学诊断和科学研究的完备性来讲,病人检查得到的诊断图像大多数都是依靠计算机得到的数字图像,图像应该详细的包括病人,检查和及其相关的信息,这些信息应该以通用的规范的一致的术语和格式来编码和存储。
随着计算机网络互联在全球的高速发展,可以通过网络完成信息的传输,快速、高效。医学图像(还包括声音)作为临床诊断和医学科研的重要依据和资源能通过网络进行传输将对整个医学的发展有个飞跃的促进,它是互联网络的深入发展和新的应用。基于特殊要求的医学数字图像和互联网络的应用而发展起来的医学数字图像通信成为两个学科交叉的新型学科。ACR和NEMA联合制定的ICOM标准就是新型学科的典型代表。它是计算机,网络通讯,数字信号处理,存储技术的综合应用。
最新版本的DICOM标准内容复杂。本文在分章研究的基础之上,详细的分析了DICOM的体系结构,剖析了所采用的核心技术,提出了从两个大的方面来认识掌握该标准。一研究对象的定义,包括医学图像的信息内容,格式,编码等规范,他们是DICOM操作的主要内容,也是临床诊断中重要的依据。二对象的通讯传输,包括依靠计算机网络和可移动媒质存储进行图像传输的两种方式。前者定义了在TCP/IP之上的DICOM UL 应用层协议,规范了信息格式,状态转换,连接协商等内容,后者规范了图像的存储服务类,包括文件操作方式,格式以及媒质规格等内容。本文勾画出了DICOM标准的整体结构。
本文立足国内目前网络医学的发展,以DICOM标准中一致性声明为准则,采用面向对象的方法实现了图像存储传输服务类通讯、高灰阶图像的重现,JPEG-LS和编码进程1的Baseline算法压缩和解压处理,并对打印通讯进行一步的研究。

Abstract
On view of integrality of medicine diagnosis and science study , many diagnosis image in clinic from patient study is produced by special instrument depended on computer. These kinds of images must include detailed information about patient, study and other relative; these information should be encoded and stored in coherent format and terminology.
With the fast development of the Internet in the global. many text, image and audio informations can be transformed quickly and efficiently on internet。Medicine image (including audio), as the important evidence clinic diagnosis and necessary shared resource for medicine research., can be transformed on internet ,which will be a great improvement in medicine field. It is a new application of Internet. Medicine digital image communication is a new cross-subject based on computer network and medicine. DICOM(Digital Imaging Communication in Medicine ) is a typical symbol of the two subjects, which is a synthetic application of computer, network, digital signal processing ,store technology.
Content of recently DICOM standard is very complicated。After studying each chapter and analyzing the architecture and core technology in the standard, this article offers a new method to master the standard from two aspects. First, Criterion for definition of object studied, including content, format, encoding of medical image. All these are the primary content of image communication and evidence of clinic diagnosis. Second, communication of object, including two ways depended on network communication and removable media. The former is a new application-layer protocol –DICOM Upper Layer based on TCP/IP , including format of transformed information,message state transfer, negotiation of association. The latter is storage service class including method of file operation, file format and media specification. This article describes a full structure of DICOM.
Beginning with the current satiations of net medicine,according as conformance statement of DICOM standard , adopting oriented-object method ,this article implements the followings : DICOM Storage Service, including SCU and SCP.for many image type. Reshowing of high grayscale image, Encoding Process 1- baseline and JPEG-LS algorithm for compression and decompression of image. Farther study the print meta service class and the complicated procedure。.
